Kazu Haga is a social activist, Kingian nonviolence trainer and the Program Director of The Peace Development Fund. I also consider him to be a friend and teacher.
and...most importantly for this blog entry at least, he is a proud resident of the city I too reside in and consider to be my hometown, even though I was not born here and a city I love deeply...OAKLAND, CA.
Recently Kazu took several days to go around town and document quite a bit of the city's incredible street art. What he discovered is nothing less than fantastic, in my opinion.
