I have heard many people reference this famous Gandhi quote, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind," though wonders if most really understand its deeper meaning. Here is that deeper meaning: If the person you cherish the most in the world is brutally murdered, to seek or support any lethal revenge in return is an act of ignorance and contributes to global ignorance.
