There seems to be a whole lot of people who are interested in defining enlightenment. I am not one of them. The word define literally means "to set limits upon." I have absolutely no interest in trying to set limits upon this concept we call enlightenment. I have also come to find the exercise of trying to define enlightenment quite a divisive and most likely a misplaced and futile one. I am finding it's much more practical to simply follow the golden rule in life, trying to live a life of service while immersing ourselves into the still silence whenever possible. I'll leave all this enlightenment stuff to others...
