I have never abandoned my love and affection for the Nazarean Master teacher nor his beautifully compassionate teachings. I continue to be inspired by the lives and examples of many of the Catholic saints. Still, I do not call myself a Christian nor a Catholic. For over 20 years I have had an important and sustaining Buddhist practice including a lively meditation practice and have made the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, Chögyam Trungpa and Pema Chödrön my own in many respects. Still, I have never referred to myself as a Buddhist. I have a gentle and heart centered Sufi practice that I have had for nearly 2 decades. Yet, I am not a Sufi. Much of my ritual and ceremonial life is influenced by what I have learned from The Cherokee, Pagan and and West African world-views. Yet none of those tribes speaks for me nor my essential and core system of belief.
I am...
Coexisting
and
Co-arising
